So, with the 17th page of the 9th chapter uploaded, we close out the first ever volume of Semi-Auto Semla. But not without the mandatory bonus pictures, of course! Stay tuned to see them uploaded here on DevArt as well as on the Semla website. But man, what a ride it's been. We've gone from a simple interest check in Chapter 1 to a convoluted mess of interlocking plots and characters in just about a year and a half. And all thanks to all you readers and Patreons who've kept us going with praise and critique both - not to mention all that wonderful fan art. Thank you all so very much!
But as Kojima is want to say, the best is yet to come. Volume 2's script has already been finished and just awaits 's hands to put it to life. It will, in my opinion, overshadow the first volume by a mile. Volume 1 was, in many ways, merely a testbed for me to get a feel on how to write and how to juggle. Juggle characters, plots, logical flow and lewd all in one, that is. Volume 2, on the other hand, is a more complete product, building on the lessons learned from Volume 1 and putting them all into practice. You can look forward to gun fights, to more complicated plots and a tighter narrative flow. Not to mention a big tournament of martial artists at the tail end of it, of course! (And least I forget, a whole lot of lewdness )
However, before Volume 2 starts, there will be a bonus chapter released. One that, like the Christmas Special, is not mandatory reading and as such will be sold rather than published online (Free to Patreons, of course!). It will hopefully be the first of many in a series called Tales from Beistad. It will serve to flesh out the characters, provide extra insight into events or just plain be a bit of stupid fun on the part of and me (Imperial Beach Party, anyone? ). The first of these tales will be Lackadaisical Lady Lilja - the story of how exactly she ended up in the trunk of Francois' car way back in chapter 1.
So, as always, stay tuned

What about Semla?
I feel I should say a few words and elaborate some on the current state of Semi-Auto Semla. Yes, it is true that we have many side comics (and a little game!) in the works at the moment. Those, I am happy to say, are on schedule and estimated to arrive one-by-one in the coming month(s). However, you may have noticed a suspicious absence of information in regards to the main comic itself. Rest assured that it is being worked on, but at a slower pace. Why the slower pace? That responsibility, alas, falls on me and me alone. Yes, it is true that most of us at Team Husman have been dealing with one hectic IRL situation after another, delaying us further (Luckily, we are all doing much better now :) ). But as the head writer of the main comic, it falls to me to deliver the scripts on time for our lead artist @DAkuroihoshiso that he can get to drawing. In that, I am sorry to say, I have failed. I still work on the comic scripts, of course, but nowhere near as regularly and as speedily as I
Help identifying a DiD studio
So I've stumbled across this one DiD scene that neither me nor my friends can identify. It's from a professional, Japanese studio, but that's where the trail runs cold. Thus far, we've ruled out Tokyo Bondage, J-DiD and Reijoh-Shaskinkan. Here's a screenshot from it: https://i.imgur.com/ojwqPxR.png The clip itself is about the damsel being put into breathplay peril by way of the OTN, with a white tape gag underneath. Her female captor (dressed in a white blouse) taunts her and while my Japanese isn't the best, I'm fairly certain it's about the damsel trying to expose an evil organization. Does anyone have any ideas?

Amaretto's Water Perils
Hello, y'all! As most of you no doubt know, I am quite fond of the classic Disney scene where Aladdin finds himself tossed into the ocean. Or, to be more exact, I am very fond of stealing it for my own characters :P NenesArt recently did this gem for me. I was thinking about making it a whole series to fully cover the whole scene. But then it hit me: lots of artists would be great for this kind of comic project, so why not take advantage of that and make every comic page unique? So, dear readers, who would you like to see take on these types of commissions? :D

I remember you saying that you were going for something in the way of Riding Bean/Gunsmith Cats, and I can say that between Hoshi's art style and the rest of Team Husman's dysfunctional and fascinating cast, you got a setting I think Sonada would be proud of.
